She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Columbus Jones and Margaret Marie Triplett Jones; her husband Nelson Mackey; and her daughter Denise Mackey. She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Mackey (Joseph Querry); and her grandchildren, Michelle Houser and Nate Mackey. She is also survived by three great granddaughters.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jenkins Funeral Home (4081 Startown Rd, Newton, NC 28658). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
