He was predeceased by: his parents, William Maurice and Janet Myers; his wife Barbara Holt Myers; his son Robert Allen Myers; and his siblings, Benny Myers, Ralph Myers, Frances Burleson and Geraldine Gibbson.
He is survived by: his daughter Joy Myers Rowe (Alan); his granddaughter Iris Rowe Hartness (Richard); his great grandchildren, Adalia Hartness and Linus Hartness; his sister Diane Hudson; and his sister-in-law Nancy Myers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
Memorials may be made to a Christian ministry of choice for the purpose of spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
