He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard Barefoot and Luna Lee Barefoot. He is survived by: his daughter Ragan Pearson; his sons-in-law, Matthew Pearson of Clinton and Mark Cruz of Newton Grove; his granddaughters, Delaney, Hadley Pearson and Harper Cruz; his siblings, Barbara Pleasant and Anthony Barefoot; and his wife Belinda.
In lieu of flowers the family has created a Samaritan's Purse Memorial Page to raise money for the tornado victims in Arkansas and Kentucky.
