She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Thornton and Elma Thornton; and her brother Sherrill Thornton. She is survived by: her son Jerry Austin; and her stepchildren, Don Austin (Debbie) of Newton Grove, William Austin (Janice) of Newton Grove, Jay Austin (Shannon) of Newton Grove and Carolyn Parker (Ray) of Meadow. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
