He was predeceased by: his parents, John Z. Cole and Susan Johnson Cole; his brothers, John, Edwin and Herman Cole; and his grandson Joshua Reed Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Irma E. Cole of Newton Grove; his sons, Ronald Cole (Wanda) of Newton Grove and David W. Cole (Susan) of Chincotegue; his grandchildren, Kristel, Whitney and Tiffiane; and his great grandchildren, Marcus, Madeleine and Andrew.
