He was predeceased by: his parents, David N. Smith and Mildred H. Smith; and his wife Betty Jo Smith. He is survived by: his granddaughters, Mary Allred (Ted, Jr.) of Florence, S. C. and Wendy Mink (Mitchell) of Newton Grove; his great grandchildren, Kayden, Olivia, Blakley and Owen; and his sisters, Carolyn Williford of Newton Grove, Brenda Garza of Avon Park and Shirley Langston (Glenn) of Four Oaks.
