It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George A. Johnson (Newton Grove, North Carolina), who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton R. "A. R." Johnson and Josephine Lee Johnson. He is survived by: his siblings, Kay J. Kennedy (Bill) of Smithfield, Nancy J. Blackman (Charlie) of Dunn, Alton R. Johnson (Shelby) of Dunn, Jerry Glenn Johnson of Dunn and Joseph E. Johnson (Fran) of Lillington; his nephews, Wade Norris, Lynn Blackman, Jesse Johnson and Josh Johnson; his niece Jennifer Holley; his aunt Libby Johnson; and his uncle George P. Johnson.
