She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch Eldridge and Anna Margaret Raynor Godwin; and her son Matthew Thomas Boykin III. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Margaret Adams (Chip) of Raleigh and Anna Catherine Turpin (Bucky) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Hattie, Ida, Charlie, Mae and Rhodes; her siblings, Theresa Englert (George) of Springfield, VA, Janet Earnheart of Matthews, Margaret Chase of Raleigh, Joe Godwin (Susan) of Benson, Linda Coleman (Jack) of Matthews, James Godwin (Cora) of Benson, Gail Clark (Joel) of Greenville and Marcia Williams (Scott) of Wilmington; and her pets, Annie and Willow. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
