It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Dean Tart of Newton Grove, North Carolina, who passed away on February 26, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin L. Barbour and Mary Anna Barbour; her husband Thomas J. Tart; and her siblings, Roy Barbour, Wade Barbour, JC Barbour, Melvin Barbour, Mary Lou Barbour Sanford and Ernestine Barbour Maynard.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Tart Rhodes (Larry) of Four Oaks and Lloyd Tart (Julia) of Dunn; and her grandchildren, Kaitlin Tart Johnson (Gregory), Hunter Rhodes (Haley Tew) and Thomas Tart.
