Ella Daughtry Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2021, at the age of 91, Ella Daughtry of Newton Grove, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ella Daughtry to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Earl; and her sisters, Doris McPhail and Lucretia Jernigan. She is survived by: her children, Linda Daughtry of Clinton, Cindy Challender (Chris) of Greenville and Kent Daughtry (Gloria) of Clinton; and her grandchildren, Wendy Monk, Nicki Byrd, Alison Hargett, Beth Daughtry, Morganne Kirkman, Laura Challender, Casey Challender and Brett Knowles. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
We ask that everyone in attendance please practice social distancing, masks are required at all services, and follow CDC guidelines. Due to the spike in current COVID cases and the recommendation of the CDC to limit crowds or groups, the funeral service will be streamed on the Hopewell United Methodist Church website for your convenience.
