It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Thornton of Newton Grove, North Carolina, who passed away on March 17, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny R. Jones and Ethel J. Jones; her sons, Darryal Thornton and Terry Thornton; and her siblings, Betty Jackson and Gary W. Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Kiddie Korner, Donna T. Bryan of Newton Grove, Patty L. Bullard (James) of Stedman and Mack Thornton of Four Oaks; and her siblings, Sherrill Jones of Newton Grove, Robert Jones of Clinton, Ronnie Jones of Benson and Jennifer Lee of Benson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
