With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Thomas Lewis of Newton Grove, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2025 at the age of 66. He was predeceased by: his father James Alford Lewis; and his brothers, Bruce Lewis and Jimmy Lewis. He is survived by: his mother Bonnie Stallans Lewis; his wife Shanna Darlene Lewis; his children, David Brent Lewis (Misty), Tina Lewis Tew (Brian), Brittany Carol Coats and Brandon Mitchell Coats (Betsy Michelle Coats); his stepdaughter Tara Kaitlyn Whitted (Kane); his grandchildren, Isaiah, Isabella, Kaiden, Vanna, William and Aiden; his sisters, Betty Nelson and Connie Tucker (George); and his sister-in-law Ellen Lewis.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dunn Funeral Home of Newton Grove (503 Raleigh St, Newton Grove, NC 28366).
