She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Calvin and Naomi Bryant Robinson; her husband John Edward Monk; her brothers, John (Jeanette), Robert (late Annette) and Amos (late Barbara); and her children, Ronald S. Monk, Rene Stephens, Daries E. Monk, James B. Stephens, Mark A. Stephens (Jasmine), Gwendolyn F. Clark (William) and Patty Stephens. She was also cherished by 27 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
