With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard Sherrill Jones (Newton Grove, North Carolina), who passed away on March 31, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Whitfield Jones and Grace Lucy Phillips Jones; his siblings, Florence Jones, James Ed Jones, Willie Marjorie Wilkerson, Joel Jones, Frank Jones, Wilburn Jones and Donald Jones; and his grandson-in-law Brandon Westbrook.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis White Jones; his children, Karen Tyler (Jeff), Kimberly Kemp (Ramey) and Jamey Jones (Natalie); his grandchildren, Megan Harper (TJ), Ashley Agner (Daniel), Reid Tyler (Michaela), Madison Marley (Kendall), Ray Kemp (Ashlyn Quinn), Kevin Kemp, Kaylee Jones (Pryce Hovey) and Emily Kemp; his great grandchildren, Gentry Westbrook, Mattie Jo Harper, Charlotte Rico, Annie Westbrook, Joshua Harper, Jensen Agner, Boone Agner and Charlie Tyler; and his sister Geraldine "Jerri" Campbell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
