He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Shaver Boyd; his children, Shannon Marie Boyd of Newport, Shawn Patrick Boyd (Jaclyn) and William Patrick Boyd III; his siblings, Maureen Garner of Newport, James Boyd of Newport and Roger Boyd (Judy) of New Bern; and his grandchildren, Carson Boyd of Newport and Evelyn Boyd of Newport.
