She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bill Gorges and Avis Gorges; her husband Randy Talton; her children, Tiana John of Newport, Joseph King (Kerri) of New Bern and Jason King (Ali) of Sanford; her siblings, Victoria Austin of Beaufort and William David Gorges of New Bern; and her grandchildren, Liam and Ramie.
