She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Barber and Bessie Barber; her husband George Michael; her sons, George "Patrick" Michael and John W. Michael; and her sister Arlene Barber.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Michael of Owings Mills, MD and Debra Harris of Thomasville, NC; her grandchildren, Jason, Melanie, Tyler and Kaitlyn; and her great grandchildren, Nyla, Lillyann and Sterling.
