He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Colwell and Alice Colwell; his wife Rosalie "Mama Lee" Colwell; and his sister Norma Lynn Colwell. He is survived by: his son Tom; his daughter-in-law Kerrie Colwell of Youngsville, NC; his brother John Colwell (Renette) of Prescott, AZ; and his pet Joey.
