He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Herschel and Leola Beacham Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Lynne Oliver Mitchell; his sons, Tommy Mitchell (Kim) and Brad Mitchell (Jana); his grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob, Chase and Presley; his sister Paula Williams (David); his children, Holly Jobe (Allen) and Jamey Sherron (Bobby); and his grandchildren, Mariah (Shane), Trey (Mykenze), Anderson, MaKayla (Noah), Maggie (Timmy), Riley and Reagan.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Garner (601 St Marys St, Garner, NC 27529). Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
