She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Penny and Derah Horne Penny; her husband George Gray Sr.; her daughter Sandra Gray Turner; her siblings, Bill Penny, Ernest Penny and Faye Penny; and her granddaughter Krystal Mizell.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy, George Gray Jr. of Newport, Ina Long (David) of Newport, Doug Gray (Susan) of Newport, Bo Gray of Newport, Ronald Gray Sr. (Linda) of Morehead City, NC and Paul Gray (Erica) of Lumberton, NC; her son-in-law Henry Turner of Newport, NC; and her siblings, Sue Denny, Betty Garner, Jimmy Penny and Johnny Penny.
