He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hardison and Elizabeth Hardison; his son Marvin Hardison Jr.; and his siblings, Edna Murdoch and Walter Hardison.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Hardison; his children, Cristy Hardison (Marcial Rodriguez) of Newport, Lisa Merkerson of Newport and Sam Hardison of Newport; his grandchildren, Brandon, Matthew, Mikel and Amber; and his great grandchildren, Lacy, Logan, Lettie and Lizzie.
