It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Sue Grdinic of Newport, North Carolina, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Jones and Christina Jones; her husband Nicholas "Nick" Grdinic; and her daughters, MaryAnn Lentini and Colleen Carter.

She is survived by: her daughters, JoAnn Parker (Wyatt) and Tina Duncan (Freddy); and her grandchildren, Kristen Reaves (Neal), Wyatt Parker, Rebecca Lester (Jason), MaryAnn Teasley (Chris), Karen Jordan and Freddy Wayne Duncan.
