He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Julian Vester and Virginia Vester; his close friends, FeFe and Isis; his wife Carol Vester; his children, Terra Rogers (Chris) of Elm City, NC and John Vester Jr. (Stephanie) of Havelock, NC; his siblings, Becky Sena (Chuck) of Reno, NV and Bobby Vester of Battleboro, NC; and his grandchildren, Hannah Rogers, Mackenzie Rogers and Gretchen Vester.
