Jean Limkeman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Limkeman of Newport, North Carolina, born in Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on February 26, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie A. Vancil and Martha M. Vancil; her husband Harold H. Limkeman; her son Victor Limkeman; her brothers, Larry Vancil and James Vancil; her grandson Toby Limkeman; and her nephew Mark Sloniger.

She is survived by: her children, Sheri Kelley (Kevin), Christina Kerr (Jim), David Limkeman, James Limkeman, Linda Howard (late Gary Howard), Travis Limkeman, Larry Limkeman and Carla Limkeman; her sister LuAnn Sloniger (Harvey); and her grandchildren, Gariann Crane, Stacie Owens, Dustin Thomas, Gina Kerr, Stephanie Jones, Melissa Field, Brent Clark, Grant Kelley, Tabitha Limkeman, Jessica Limkeman, Joshua Limkeman, Megan Limkeman, Caleb Limkeman and Samuel Limkeman. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.

Per Jean's wishes, memorials are requested in lieu of flowers to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
