He was predeceased by: his grandsons, Adam Barefield and Eric Weissinger. He is survived by: his wife Aloa Boyd of Newport; his children, Alicia Barefield (David) of Newport and Bruce Boyd (Michelle Edmondson) of Bogue; and his brother Kenneth Boyd (Kathy) of Mesquite, NV..
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Methodist Church (728 Bogue Loop Rd, Bogue, NC 28570). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
