He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hawkins Hibbs and Nancy Hibbs; his children, Christina Leister of Newport, NC, Matthew Hibbs (Amanda) of Newport, NC, Thomas Hibbs and NCa; his siblings, Lisa Hunter (James) of Chepachet, RI and David Hibbs (Carlene) of Brooklyn, CT; his grandchildren, Taylor, Britta, Hailey, Brett, Chloe, Dylan and Logan; and his great grandchildren, Vincent, Jack and Alessia.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Munden Funeral Home & Crematory (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Cedar Grove Cemetery (830 Mann St, Newport, NC 28570).
