With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gordon M. Rouse Jr. of Newport, North Carolina, born in Grifton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Rouse and Virginia Rouse; and his brother Robert Rouse. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Marion of Newport, NC; his daughter Ginger Piner (Danny) of Newport, NC; his stepsons, Jonathan Marion and Jamie Marion; his grandchildren, Brandon Chambers (Alexa), Kymberly Rouse and Collin Rouse; his great grandchildren, Kyren, Kaylee, Remington and Kolton; and his niece Pam Morris (Timmy).
