With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Farrell Kizziah of Newport, North Carolina, who passed away on October 27, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin Kizziah and Annie Barber Kizziah; and his siblings, Mary Lou Barker, Margie Allen and Frank Kizziah, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Watkins Kizziah; his daughters, Karen K. Davis (Martin) of Swansboro, Kathy K. McLendon (T. D.) of Newport and Terry K. Daugherty of Newport; his siblings, Brenda Smith (Hugh) of Burlington and Jack Kizziah (Pat) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Matthew Davis (Theresa), Michael Davis (Chioma), Jamie Peckous (Stephen), Tray McLendon, Katie Daugherty (Doman), Jordan Daugherty and Chad Daugherty; and his great grandchildren, Mason Davis, Micaiah Davis, Olivia Peckous, Penny Peckous, Magnolia Peckous, Alexandria Peckous and Easton Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
