She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Temple and Annie Temple; her husband James Luther "Jimmy June" Edwards; and her siblings, Blanche Temple Merrill, Lloyd Temple, Thomas Temple and Jessie Temple.
She is survived by: her daughters, June L. Edwards of Newport and Jessica L. Edwards of Newport; and her grandson Dylan Thomas Ring of Newport.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Munden Funeral Home & Crematory (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. James United Methodist Church (1011 Orange St, Newport, NC 28570). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the Cedar Grove Cemetery (830 Mann St, Newport, NC 28570).
