He is survived by: his wife Freida Russell; his children, Jennifer Smith (Tim) of Goldsboro, NC, Gina Bonds (Jesse) of Statesville, NC and Curtis Wade Russell Jr. (Shannon) of Wendell, NC; his stepsons, Michael LeFevers (Rita) of Hickory, NC and Robert LeFevers of Newport, NC; and his siblings, Brenda Carol Futrell (Elton) of Bogue, Major Allan Russell (Rhonda) of Bogue and Rev. Tony Lionel Russell (Kathy) of Bogue.
