He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Lawrence of Newport, NC, Daisy Rennwald (John) of Beaufort, NC and Elbert Jones (Joyce) of Harkers Island, NC; and his stepchildren, Crystal Piner of Kinston, NC, William Piner of Harkers Island, Ivey Piner (Paula) of Tusk, NC and Dennis Piner (Cathy) of Morehead City, NC.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Refuge Fellowship Church (109 Mullens Dr, Harkers Island, NC 28531). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at the Vergie Mae Cemetery (603 Cape Lookout Dr, Harkers Island, NC 28531).
