With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Hunt of Newport, North Carolina, who passed away on March 30, 2025 at the age of 20. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Maryann and Crickett Hawthorne. He is survived by: his father Charles Stanley Hunt Jr. of New Bern; his siblings, Isaac Lee Hunt, Crickalle Nefertiti Hunt of Charlotte, Sharlasia McGahee of Lake Placid, FL and Sqwayy Hawthorne of Lake Placid, FL; his mother Nancy Nichole Wuyche of Lake Placid, FL; and his grandparents, Susan Biley of Newport and Charles Hunt Sr. of Beaufort.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at 189 Howard Blvd, Newport, NC 28570.
