With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bettye Clark Ryder of Newport, North Carolina, born in Opelika, Alabama, who passed away on October 11, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Clark and Maggie Clark; and her siblings, Wesley E. Clark, Fred L. Clark Jr., Barbara C. Webb and Danny D. Clark.
She is survived by: her husband Donald T. Ryder; her daughter Donna Register (Raymond) of Emerald Isle; her grandchildren, Raymond F. Register III, Katie Bennett of Hernando, FL, Kelly E. Fitzpatrick (Eric) of Newport and Richard T. Register of Charleson, SC; and her great grandchildren, Kylie J. Makhorn of Menifee, CA, Ryder of Newport, Emmett of Newport, Piper Fitzpatrick of Newport, Avery of Hernando, FL and Rian Register of Hernando, FL.
