She was predeceased by: her parents, Ilee Westbrook and Lola Ellen Strickland Westbrook; her husband Clyde Steedly; and her brothers, Carl Ray Westbrook and Billy Westbrook.
She is survived by: her children, Timmy Steedly of Jacksonville and Lisa Briel (Ed) of Newport; her sisters, Carrie Godwin of Dunn and Georgia McClenny of Roanoke Rapids; her grandchildren, Jessica Steedly, Jordan Steedly, Justin Steedly and Eddie Briel; and her great grandchildren, Liana Steedly, Emmi Steedly and Avery Briel.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520).
