It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Ruth Johnson of Newport, North Carolina, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Hill and Virgin Mary Ormond Hill; and her daughter Christiana Ruth Johnson Broadway. She is survived by: her sons, Lott Johnson and Robert E. Lee Johnson, III. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren; and a nephew.
