He is survived by: his daughter Kate Gavenus (George Ellwanger) of Morganton, NC; his sister Elsie Camesi of Miami, FL; his son Frederick Walter Jackson; and his grandsons, Garrett Gavenus (Kelly Rose) of Philadelphia, PA and Alex Gavenus of Morganton, NC..
