She was predeceased by: her parents, William Anderson Johnson and Aubry "Sis" Cornett Johnson; her son Roger Sluder; and her siblings, Ballard Johnson, Leonard Johnson, James Johnson, John Johnson, Emmett Johnson, Lonnie Johnson, Thousa Trice, Myrtle Hodges, Juanita Hodges and Margaret Ledford.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Sluder; her daughter Roxann Smith of Elizabethton, TN; her daughter-in-law Cindy Sluder of Roanoke, VA; her grandchildren, Tim Palmer, Nikki Smith Carr (Christopher), Michael Smith (Kirsten), Chris Sluder and Matt Sluder; and her great grandchildren, Bryson Smith, Carter Hannah, Israel Smith and Ansley Grayce Carr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
