She was predeceased by: her mother Oakie King; and her siblings, Bruce King, Fred King, Charlie King, Nubert King, Russell King, Ronald King, Vergie Brewer and Vina King.

She is survived by: her children, Amy Cassidy (Scott) of Morganton, NC, Jason Burleson (Courtney) of Johnson City, TN, Dudley Burleson (Connie) of Newland, NC and Charlie Burleson (Julie) of Newland, NC; and her sister Vonda Buchanan of Powdermill, NC. She is also survived by Seven Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren.
