With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ted Fields of Newland, North Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster Fields and Ellamae Norman Fields; his son-in-law Gerald McGuire; his brother Phillip Fields; and his nephew Davy Fields.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley B. Fields; his daughters, Lisa McGuire of Roan Mountain, Jerri McKinney (Keith) of Roan Mountain and Letha Corn (Jerry) of Newland; his grandchildren, Jennifer Walsh (Joe), Jessica Buchanan (Patrick), Matthew McKinney, Mark McKinney, Sabrina Bowman (Robby Byrd) and Tabatha Honeycutt (Stacy); his great grandchildren, Tylie, Owen, Nate, Jaslyn and Scarlett; and his nephew Tim Fields of Newland.
The family request memorial donations be made to the funeral home to held with expenses.
