We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2022, at the age of 69, Sherrill Johnson of Newland, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Harland Johnson and Sara Radford Johnson Vance; his brother Larry Dale Johnson; and his son Steven Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Alma Townsend Johnson; his brother Gary Johnson (Jackie) of Crossnore, NC; his daughter Wendy Fleenor of Banner Elk, NC; his grandson Jacob Whetsel (Gabriella) of Hudson, NC; his great grandchild Cedric Whetsel; and his granddaughters, Sarah Whetsel of Newland, NC and Danielle Johnson of Banner Elk, NC. He is also survived by Two step granddaughters and seven step great grandchildren.
