It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Mary Estep (Newland, North Carolina), who passed away on January 24, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Stines and Ida Brown Stines; her husband Harvey Estep; her siblings, Floyd, Clyde, Coy Stines, Addy Estep, Ula Ward and Verdi Vines; and her great grandchild Jaden Jarrett.
She is survived by: her children, Marshal Estep (Lois), Dean Estep (Evelyn) and Phyllis Mitchell (Mike); her sister Viola Phillips of Vilas; her grandchildren, Melanie McLeod (Scott), Angie Jarrett (Ashlee), Adam Estep (Tonya), Sherry Estep (Michael) and Karen Haas (Scott) of Granite Falls; and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Landon McLeod, Christopher, Katylin, Ashton, Zachary, Brigett, Trevor Estep, Connor, Camryn Jarrett, Black and Ava Estep.
