He was predeceased by: his parents, Macy Everett Sherrill and Verlie Munday Sherrill. He is survived by: his children, Micheal Sherrill, David Sherrill and Nicole S. Motley; his grandsons, Nicholas, Grant Sherrill, Andrew, Seth and Noah Motley; and his sisters, Becky Stevens and Judy Black.
His ashes will be scattered in his beloved mountains.In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to Tucker Hospice House, 5005 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081 would be appreciated.
