He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezell Calloway and Dollie Coffey Calloway; his wives, Barbara Clark Calloway and Mary Daniels Calloway; and his siblings, Betty Murrow, Mary Hodges, Grace Johnson, Georgia Calloway, Clyde Calloway, Claude Calloway and Bobby Calloway.
He is survived by: his children, Monet Samuelson (Kenneth) of Pineola, NC, Steven Calloway (Cassie) of Indian Land, SC and Derrick Calloway (Katie) of Mooresville, NC; and his grandchildren, Bella, Callie, Kesler, Harper, Brock, Reagan, Cole, Lainey and Maggie. He is also survived by step-children, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newland Presbyterian Church (199 Elk St, Newland, NC 28657). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Children's.
