It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Haga of Newland, North Carolina, who passed away on October 28, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Winters and Elma Carpenter Taylor; her husband Robert "Boonie" Haga; and her brothers, Paul Winters, Samuel "Ador" Winters, Cecil "Homer" Winters and Harry Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughters, Trish Haga of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Darcy Whyde of Newland, NC and Susie Nichols of Lenoir, NC; her grandchildren, Raymond "Ramey" George of Newland, NC, Victor Santiago of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Heidi Whyde of Morganton, NC; and her great grandchild Corey George of Cleveland, OH..
