She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Thomas Reed and Melba Sluder Reed; and her brother Jimmie Reed. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Gwyn; her daughter Tammy Beck (David); her grandchildren, Josh, Addie and Davey Beck; and her sister-in-law Sherry Ann Reed of Maryland.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Newland Presbyterian Church (199 Elk St, Newland, NC 28657).
