It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neil George Pittman (Newland, North Carolina), who passed away on May 7, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent George Kelly; and his brother Dennis Pittman. He is survived by: his parent Lillian McGee Pittman; his spouse Shirley S. Pittman; his son George Kelly Pittman, II; his wife Tracy of Newland; his grandchildren, Peyton of Newland and Jill of Newland; his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Bennett of Bakersville, Lola Morales of Columbia, SC, Bill Stanley of Spruce Pine, Herman Stanley (Georgia) of Maryland, Ealr Stanley (Jean) of Kirkwood and Gibbs Stanley (Audrey) of Kirkwood, PA; his niece Tammy McKinney; and his close friends, Wayne Hall and Mike Collis.
