It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorena Owens McKee of Newland, North Carolina, who passed away on August 14, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Owens and Mabel Buchanan Owens; her husband Dallas William McKee; and her sister Glenda Banner. She is survived by: her children, Jackie McKee of Newland, NC and Janice Phillips (Richard) of Newland, NC; her sister Billie Trice of Newland, NC; her grandchildren, Richie Phillips of Newland, NC and Christy Clark (Nathan) of Newland, NC; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Phillips and Braydon Johnson.
