She was predeceased by: her father Taylor Christopher Oaks; her husband Edgar Hughes; her mother Ruby Garnett Oaks; and her siblings, Von Oaks, Dean Oaks and Sue Dellinger.
She is survived by: her children, Greta Trivett (Jerry) of Newland, NC and Greg Hughes (Donna) of Newland, NC; her grandchildren, Benjamin Trivett (Kim), Kathryn Trivett, Kella King, Darrell Sullins (Heather) and Kali Sullins; and her great grandchildren, Robert, Evan, Harvest, Carli, Nace, Cropper, Karsyn, Nora and Joshua.
