She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Benfield (April) of Newland, NC and Tim Benfield (Angie) of Newland, NC; her siblings, Elizabeth Rice (Mike) of Old Fort, NC and Wade Thompson (Cindy) of Elk Park, NC; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Brewer of Newland, NC and Gina Barrier of Morganton, NC; her grandchildren, Cassandra Bare (Chad), Ashley Johnson (Billy), Emily Winters (Jason), Josh Benfield (Natasha) and Jordan Benfield; and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Adalynn, Lily, Mila, Birdie, River, Flynt and Kohen.
