We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2020, at the age of 79, Joe Gary Banner (Newland, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Banner and Walter Guinn; his close friend Edith Greene; and his brother Billy Robbins (Anna) of Lenoir. He is survived by: his sister Beverly Norris (Robert) of Eastanollee, GA.; his stepchildren, Eddie Jones of Newland and Patricia Shook (Eddie) of Newland; his granddaughter Leah Bradford (Bryan) of Newland; his stepgranddaughter Maranda Nussbaum (Brian) of Raleigh; and his pet Chico. He is also survived by five nieces, two nephews, eight great nieces, five great nephews, four great-great nephews, three great-great nieces.
